| Mysterious, efficient and merciless, the true motives of the machine warriors known as Necrons are unknown. That they have a purpose, a plan, a greater and more sinister purpose is without doubt. They carry weaponry of a sophisticated and mysterious type, unlike anything known in the Imperium and far in advance of anything even from the Dark Age of Technology. They appear without warning and cause extensive havoc before disappearing with their captives for undoubtedly hideous experimentation. When one of these mechanical monstrosities is gunned down, it repairs itself and returns to the attack or fades from existence as if it was never there. |
