We are the Angolan Republican Youth Organization (Organiza��o Republicana da Juventude Abgolana-Orja). We are here to:

1. Advance the growth of the Republican Party of� Angola through the support of, and in cooperation with, other local and foreign clubs as well with International Political and Religious Institutions and Non-Governmental Organizations(NGO's).
2. Encourage awareness and active participation in the political process at all levels of government by members of the club and the community.
3. Support and promote the philosophies and ideals of the Republican Party of � Angola(Partido Republicano de Angola-PREA) based on the United States Republican principles, religion and Pana-Africanism.
4. Actively participate in the support of educational and community programs designed to promote awareness in the governmental process at all levels.

• I want to help the Angolan community.

  The Angolan Republican Youth Organization(Orgaiza��o Republicana da Juventude Angolana-ORJA) volunteer for various community service projects, like Habitat for Peace and Humanity, on a regular basis. If you are interested in participating, simply e-mail or call + [31](62)9158043 (Sousa)
  

• I want to discuss political issues and educate myself to serve Angola.

  The Angolan Republican Youth Organization (Orgaiza��o Republicana da Juventude Angolana-ORJA) include members with many different viewpoints and political opinions. However, most of us agree that Angolan must be agenuine democratic nation and all power should be given back to the people, and that overblown government and bureaucracies should be made more efficient. We also believe that more incentives should be created for work, investment, and savings.
  

• I want to raise awareness of Angolan women's issues.

  The Angolan Republican Youth Organization (Orgaiza��o Republicana da Juventude Angolana-ORJA) offer female students a unique opportunity to discuss women's issues, and make their voice heard in national politics. Augusta Pitra� coordinates the Angolan Republican Women's� Federation Voter Education Program (FRMA) in Luanda, Angola. The FRMA� will publishe a monthly women's issues newsletter called "Opening Minds," in parallel with the Republicano Press "PREA's News Paper."

• I want to hear prominent speakers.

  The Angolan Republican Youth Organization (Orgaiza��o Republicana da Juventude Angolana-ORJA) will host several well-known foreign political figures, particularly the USA Republican Leaders in the near future. Our members will get the opportunity to meet the speakers personally. That's your chance to ask your favorite politician the questions you always wanted to ask but never had the chance to do.
  

• Partido Republicano de Angola-PREA/Conservative I want to explore education and employment opportunities in the New Angolan government and politics.

  The Angolan Republican Youth Organization (Orgaiza��o Republicana da Juventude Angolana-ORJA) provide members with a network of elected officials and organizations that offer internships and full-time employment. Members learn where, when, and how to apply for the position they are interested in.

What is a Angolan Republican Youth Organization-ORJA?

Angolan Republican Youth Organization (Orgaiza��o Republicana da Juventude Angolana-ORJA's) are people between the ages of 18 and 40 who are interested in taking an active role in Republican Party of Angola-Partido Republicano de Angola-PREA politics. They are organized as a special group because as young people, they have different opportunities and situations to incorporate into their political activity.

Angolan Republican Youth Organization(Orgaiza��o Republicana da Juventude Angolana-ORJA) take part in GOP activities in Angola and foreign countries, doing everything from voter registration drives, to phone bank operations, to being campaign managers and running for Angoln apublic office themselves. They provide crucial support to the Republican Party of Angola(Partido Republicano de Angola-PREA), and work to ensure the future of the party in their communities and nationwide.

Anyone between the ages of 18 and 40 is eligible to be a Angolan� Young Republican. The best way to organize is on the local level, because the foundation of the Angolan Young Republicans is built from the grassroots level on up.

Purpose of a Angolan Republican Youth Organization-ORJA

A Angolan Republican Youth Organization(Orgaiza��o Republicana da Juventude Angolana ("ORJA") local Club provides the opportunity for young people who are interested in good government to:

• Work for the implementation of democracy, justice, freedom, liberty and peace in Angola
• Learn about their governmental and political institutions
• Participate in the political process
• Perpetuate the Mutlty-party system on which our political system is built
• Become better informed and more involved citizens

Through the ORJA's, they can develop their political knowledge and understanding of the issues of the day, and as citizens become more effective voters and campaign workers. By participating in the local Club, they may assist in selecting candidates for public office and then may elect those candidates by actively helping them in their campaigns.

ORJA's provides a unique opportunity for an interested young Angolan Republican to meet with the decision makers in society and to meet like-minded individuals in their own community and across the nation.
