Ori's Sudoku Page

This Sudoku applet is a Java applet I wrote for fun. It can solve any Sudoku puzzle it is given as long as it is a legal one.
Also it can generate puzzles and give hints.

If the Java apllet below is not running make sure your browser is set to enable Java applets to run.
Also you might need to download the latest Java software.
To check your Java software and to download the latest version visit: Java's official site.

Look below the applet for instructions on How to play and Controls.

How to play

Sudoku is a number puzzle. The object of the game is to complete the board so each column, row and outlined nine square block contain all the numbers from 1 to 9. This of course means that no number can appear more than once in each column, row or block.

Although you can use guesswork to find the solution the most chalanging way to solve the puzzle is with logic alone.
Good luck!

Controls

Left mouse button or Mouse Wheel - change the value of a square on the board.
Right mouse button (hold) -  get a better view of the square's row column and block.

Click and hold the "Check" button to mark any mistake on the board.
The rest of the buttons are pretty simple to understand.
