Anshuman Behera selected to participate in World Games for All Sports
The World Games for All Sports Organised under the Patronage of International Olympic Committee at South Korea in which Muaythai included as a Sports Event. Muaythai Federation of India under the able leadership of Mr. Oken Jeet Sandham will send a National Level Muaythai Team for the Same Championship. Mr. Anshuman Behera, Gold Medalist of 7th National Muaythai Championship & Silver Medalist of 8th National Muaythai championship, Participant of Last World Muaythai Championship-2008 has been reselected to represent India for this historic Event.
8th IFMA India NATIONAL MUAYTHAI CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 AT NEW DELHI.
The 8th IFMA-INDIA National Muaythai Championship 2008 will scheduled to be held on 25th to 29th of July 2008 to select the fittest candidates for the upcoming World Muaythai Championship to be held during Septmber 2008 at South Korea under the patronage of INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE - IOC.

The Executive Meeting of the Orissa Muaythai Union is being held at the at Bhubaneswar, with the Presidency of Mrs. M. Mohanty (President of: Orissa Muaythai Union) in which the main agenda of discussion is to appointment of the Different Muaythai Promoters in Different Zones of Orissa for the Promotion of Muaythai through Orissa Muaythai Union. And finally the following persons have been unanimously appointed for the same. Mr. Satish (In-Charge for Eastern Orissa Muaythai Promotion), Mr. G.R. Mohnaty (Western Orissa Muaythai Promotion), Mr. S.K. Padhee (Orissa North Zone Muaythai Association), Mr. Trinath Sing Lal (South Zone Muaythai Association), Mr. Ajay Kumar Swain (West Zone Muaythai Association), Mr. Ranjan Kumar Sahoo (East Zone Muaythai Association)
A decision had also been taken by the General Assembly related to sponsor of players for the 8th IFMA National Muaythai Championship - 2008 scheduled to held from 27~30 June 2008. In this connection it is finalized that all the Zonal Associations are responsible to select their fittest candidates and sponsor them to participate in the final selection for State Team

Anshuman Behera (Koraput) successfully represented India through MFI in the WMC - IFMA World Championships-2007 27th November - 5th December 2007 held in honour of the 80th Birthday of his Majesty the King of Thailand
