Born in Ipswitch, Queensland, 11th of December 1979. Sam spent the majority of his life growing up in Darwin, Australia. Moving to Perth Jan, 2001.
Sam started his music career with Piano at age 10, achieving AMEB, Grade 4 with honours in all grades. Soon after starting Piano, he also started teaching himself guitar (which he still plays). Whilst looking for a position as a rythm guitarist in a metal band, he stumbled across 'Bolverk' a darwin metal band that required a singer. And became a vocalist.
During his 3 and a half years with Bolverk he played support for bands such as 'Screaming Jets', 'The Angels', 'Mental as anything', 'The giants', and 'The poor'. He played his last gig with Bolverk, New years eve 2000, and then gave up singing all together. Then recently he took it up again after seeing and add for 'Singer required' from which he became the vocalist for 'Orion'. |
