Alisdair was born on September 25th 1979. His first musical instrument was the bagpipes, with which he has been playing professionally for the past 4 years. Alisdair picked up his first guitar in September 1998, and began taking lessons. Due to this being his second instrument and with already the knowlege of alot of musical theory, he took to learning the guitar quite rapidly. In December 1999 Alisdair formed an original rock band called "Shoveltongue", where he met Bass Guitarist Paul Spencer, but the band, due to lack of time, dispanded. (Paul later teamed up with Alisdair again to form Orion). Finally after many long hours of jamming out Metallica, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath covers with his brother Iain, they decided to form an original metal band. And the rest is history....
