Believe it or not, this is the last pyramid ever built. So technically it should be much more intact than the others. It was amazing to contrast the first pyramid ever built (right next to it) and the last pyramid ever built (this one).
Linnea helping this 11 year old girl make a silk carpet. Unlike Linnea, this girl had to go through 4 years of schooling everyday to learn how to make this type of carpet. It was so cool to watch how fast these girls moved thier hands!
This is a walkway in Old Cairo where the holy family lived for a time on their way to Jerusalem. Up ahead, there is a church built over where Jesus and his family supposedly actually lived.
This is a mosque in Cairo that we visited with Osman. It is the 2nd tallest mosque in the world. This picture doesn't do it justice. It was amazing to see such a huge structure. Across the street was Mohammed Ali's Temple.
