This is just inside the Karnak Temple. Some of it was under construction. You can kind of see the beginning of the hypstyle are of the temple which is shown in the picture below.
Even from this picture you can't really even imagine how big or numerous the pillars were here. There were 134 pillars and it takes about 10 people with outstretched arms to go around only 1.
This is of the colors on the top of the hypstyle area. It's amazing to see that still there after over 3200 years.
This is the 2nd largest obelisk in the world. It was built by Hatshepsut and stands in the middle of the Karnak Temple.
This one is of Kiley, Becca, Emily and me at the back of the 102 acre Karnak Temple.
