| Who else stays 24-7 in front of the computer playing chess? Well, let me introduce you to my dad, Jun. A chess addict in his own right, he's always competing at the Las Vegas Chess Tournament ever since I can remember. Actually, he was in a newspaper once for winning a tournament...can't remember when though. He loves to sing and sing and sing, plays the guitar, and knows some notes on the keyboard. He took up engineering in the University of Mapua in the Philippines, but later decided to change his major to Business/Accounting (no wonder I keep changing my major...). The best thing about him is his sense of humor. When in a state of depression, call him, he knows how to tickle your funny bone. My dad's a very quiet and composed man with lots of talents. The best talent he has is being a great dad to me; giving support, understanding, comfort, love, and not the mention lectures among many. Ha-ha-ha! Thanks for keeping my feet on the ground pa. |
| If I can choose my own life, I would live my mom's life. Hers is full of constant inspiration and admiration. The eldest out of six, she indeed took the responsibility of being the "manang" of the family, She is the pillar of our clan. I have never known anyone as altruristic as he. she's always ready to give up everything for her family's needs; never asking anything in return. She is a very intelligent individual. she loves children and i guess that is why she still works in a pediatric unit cedars sinai hospital in los angeles. She was also a teacher back in the seventies. I am very proud of her because of all the challenges and endeavors that she faced throughout the years. She always comes out smiling. I thank the Lord above for giving me the gift of life and for the parents he has bestowed upon me. |
