hey guys, what's up with the clothes?
my cousins are smiling the cold water away
a bamboo bridge on a water stream
i wouldn't miss this for the world
too shy to take off their clothes
hmmm...let's just pose, you think?
.

Actually, Basang is just a small place and the only thing to do there is swim, eat, and get drunk. It's a nice little place for a family get together or outing. I love the water there. You can't really tell where the water is coming from, but they said it's from the mountains. What mountain  for that matter, I don't know. As far as I am concerned, wherever it's coming from, it's COLD!
.

There is a cave there also, but I choose not to go  in it because they said it was dangerous and a bit scary inside. I didn't bother. Besides, I do not want to stroll inside a cave with a "su-eo" or "torch". I don't like the idea of snakes and spider webs either. The only spider and whatever crawly insects I want to see is inside my aquarium. Besides,  the only web that I like is the World Wide Web...hahaha

Please wait for the pictures to load...
I don't exactly remember the year the first time I went to Basang, but ever since then, I go there just to cool off. Especially during the summer time in Aklan. I could not believe how cold the water was the first time I soaked myself in it. Before I dipped in, I wondered why my uncles had placed two cases of beer in the spring. I found out soon enough! It was as if I was inside a refrigerator. I have never experienced this before, not in the Philippines anyway.
