T.O. annoys the ever living fuck out of me. Jerry Jones has totally hit my shit-list. J.J. might think having "characters" or "personalities" is one way to run a franchise, but I think enabling a grown man to continue to act like a prima-donna two year old is a sure sign of an ethical loser.

I hate San Francisco 49ers. I hate Dallas Cowboys. I hate Oakland Raiders. I hate Tennessee Titans. Why? They or their fans all participate in or encourage unsportsmanlike conduct. When the 49ers beat the Chargers in the Superbowl, what the general manager, or whoever the hell he was, said about the Chargers in his we won speech was reprehensible. T.O. Gawd. Even having had a guy like Emmett Smith can't make up for hiring T.O. The man should have been blackballed. There is more to the game than handling a ball. Raiders fans and rioting? 'Nuff said. Oh, and the Titans fans, leave us not forget them. A kid, a kid in a half-time kick the ball contest gets booed by hundreds of adults because he's from Pittsburgh?

Conduct unbecoming can get you kicked out of the military. We expect our service members to act like adults and hold themselves to a standard of ethics. We expect out elected officials to behave ethically. We expect every person to have a standard of conduct, but we reward these losers for acting like they still need diapers?

T.O. is just another link in a long line of "business as usual" embarrassments in sports. Get rid of him. I don't care how technically lovely he is with a ball; his disrespect for the people he plays with, the fans that keep the league going, and the game itself is reprehensible. The man needs to grow the hell up. Apologies are great. I'm all for them, but only if they're real. T.O. obviously wouldn't know what real repentance is if it ate his catching arm. An apology means nothing if the behavior doesn't change and T.O.'s behavior hasn't. Shame on Jerry Jones for not being a better nanny.

Fans need to demand that the athletes that are paid to entertain us are held to the same standards of ethical behavior and civility that we expect everyone else in our society to have. Whoever has been kissing their ass since they played in j.v. lied to them. They are not better than anyone else out here.
