January 1, 1994 versus American Patriot, Brett Powers. This match helped to establish Dark Rider as a serious contender in Ohio Championship Wrestling. Dark Rider won his first of several Light Heavyweight Championships defeating Brett Powers for the OCW Light Heavyweight title in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Also in this match Dark Rider ended the undefeated streak of Brett Powers in OCW.
-Toughest Opponent:
"Canadian Crusher" Biff Beverly. In their last notable confrontation, Beverly defeated Dark Rider in their match on, March 6, 1999 in Murray City, Ohio. Dark Rider respects the abilities Biff has inside the wrestling ring, but is extremely frustrated about the fact he has never defeated the Canadian Crusher.
-Favorite Maneuver:
The Saddle Buster. Dark Rider really isn't the type of wrestler who will stick to a specific game plan. He's rough and rugged, a brawler who doesn't care if whacking an opponent with a foreign object is what it takes to earn a victory. When it does come to an actual wrestling move; one that has helped him win many matches and championships is the Saddle Buster (Camel Clutch).
