Dr. Doright's Medicine Bag

Kasimoto's Terrifying Experience!

Oops, Dr. Doright slipped again! Not on the steps. He had a tongue slip.

"You are such a good little guy", Dr. Doright was telling Kasimoto.

"Me not little!" hollered Kasimoto,"Me big strong Sumo!" Poor Dr. Doright, he had offended Kasimoto again and Kasimoto had flown into an angry rage. Little Buddie had seen this before, and he began to pray for both Kasimoto and Dr. Doright, as Kasimoto stomped from the house.

"Oh me oh my," moaned Dr. Doright. "I do have a terrible vay of saying the vrong thing at the vrong time."

"It is not really your fault, Dr. Doright. Kasimoto should know your heart and that you are a Christian and do not mean to offend him," said Little Buddie. "Kasimoto is a Christian, and he should put aside his pride. Then he would not be so easily offended. I will pray for him and go talk with him".

Little Buddie went to find his friend Kasimoto.

"Kasi, Moto, Kasi, Moto," called Little Buddie. But he could not locate his friend anywhere. Little Buddie scoured the yard looking for Kasimoto. He started around the big oak tree. When he reached the other side, there was Kasimoto and the neighbor's dreaded rat terrier Ratsy. Little Buddie and all the little people feared Ratsy. They remembered the time Ratsy got hold of Playtime Barbie. When found, Barbie was nothing but a dog saliva covered chunk of plastic. Yuck! But there was Kasimoto, his pride out of control, standing his full six inches tall and waving his fist at the dreaded Ratsy.

"Kasimoto, don't!" cried Little Buddie. But he was too late. Just as the last syllable left his lips he saw Ratsy open those dreaded jaws and in one swift move take up Kasimoto and trot off with his prize. Little Buddie was terrified. All he could picture in his mind as he ran to get Dr. Doright was his best friend as a dog saliva covered chunk of plastic.

Meanwhile, Kasimoto had not given up. He was kicking and screaming at Ratsy to let go, but to no avail. When he was finally exhausted Kasimoto then remembered the 23rd Psalm and began to pray to it to the Lord. He also recognized the sinfulness of his pride and how the Bible says that pride goes before a fall. "

Father, forgive me for my sinful pride and please deliver me from this terrible fate", prayed Kasimoto.

"Vhat!" exclaimed Dr. Doright, as Little Buddie breathlessly told him of Kasimoto's fate.

"Ve must go save Kasimoto!" Grabbing Little Buddie and placing him is his pocket, Dr. Doright flew out the door, headed for the neighbor yard and Ratsy's dog house. But horror of horrors, Ratsy and Kasimoto were not to be found!

Dr. Doright at that instant uttered a prayer, "Dear Lord, please save my little friend Kasimoto. I tried but failed." Ratsy, meanwhile, was carrying Kasimoto to his secret hiding place. The same place he had hidden when he mangled Barbie. But as Ratsy rounded the corner of Mrs. Pipkins mobile home out scooted Tiffy, Mrs Pipkins cat, chasing a field mouse that had been scuttling about in the grass. Ratsy hated that prissy cat and dropped Kasimoto from his jaw as he gave chase.

"Praise the Lord!" exclaimed Kasimoto, as he ran as fast as his little legs would carry him. When he reached the house, Little Buddie and Dr. Doright were overjoyed to see him. When Kasimoto told them how he had escaped from the dreaded Ratsy, they were all amazed at how the Lord had answered their prayers. Kasimoto also told them how he had learned that there is a kind of pride that God hates and calls us to conquer. He learned that Christians are not supposed to allow themselves to be offended, but instead are to forgive.

Dr. Doright was overjoyed and cried out,"Lets go fishing!"
