Zines: In the original sense of the word, a magazine is a regularly issued periodical containing miscellaneous pieces (as articles, stories, poems) and is often illustrated. A zine, is then fundamentally a little magazine, usually non-commercial, which is comprised of a literary collection, that features works especially of writers who are not well-known.

The Origami Box: Is a collaborative web zine. It is place for people of any size, color, shape, gender, class, sexual orientation, or religion to read and write about a wide range of topics, in a safe, and accepting atmosphere. Some topics we frequent are: Feminism, sexuality, adolescence, growing up, lesbianism, labels, personal reflections, activism, addictions, recovery, love, friendship, depression, personal boundaries, personal goals, dreams, identity, underground publication, female oppression and short stories... among, many, many others.
