Things have been quiet here at Origami since the last batch of JETs returned home in July / August 2007. The Kanagawa Board of Education, in their inscrutable wisdom, have decided to cut down considerably on their participation JET Programme beyond 2007. There are currently only 12 JETs throughout K-Town.
Unfortunately it seems there are not enough JETs to make the 5 yearly installments of yester-year a viable proposition. So what is to become of Origami?
WE'RE GONNA KEEP ON HANGIN' IN THERE, THATS WHAT!
We will be updating the "Events" section regularly (see below). The newsletter archives are still packed with lots of useful information and other good stuff. And who knows, we might put out some new articles in Origami in the future. Or else, we may just link to writings, musings or ramblings of Kanagawa JETs from blogs or other sources. So it's still worth dropping in every now and then.
