Eat at Joe's Cafe
5th Annual Orphan's
Thanksgiving Dinner

The Orphan's Dinner, is for people in the valley, regular customers at the Eat at Joe's Cafe, Hwy 36 in Low Pass,Oregon, who have no local family or just no family at all, who want to get together and share a time of thanksgiving. Everyone brings salads, sweet potatoes, pies, cookies, and the Cafe provides the turkey. There is always more food than we can eat and a good time is enjoyed by everyone.

Some part of Joe, Nancy and Marion's family joins us each year, and this year was a bumper crop. See the family gang below, four generations of one family, Marion and John with three of their children, plus spouses and 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter and spouse and two great grandchildren.

Marion Graham, always cleaning up behind us.

Steven, Marion's grandson sharing his gift of music,he does not see but if he hears a song once, he can play it, soon everyone is asking for favorites.

Denise, one of our neighbors is a waitress in town, she just can't stop making sure everyone has want they need, she's a gem.

Next will be pictures of the crowd, some are better than others, I'm not the best behind the lens, digital camera's are slow and people move all the time, including me, so some fuzzy.

A wonderful time was had by the 40 plus people who came, a neighboring business, L.R.I. provided everyone with a wonderful gift,an X-Light. Please visit their website.
