We're grieved at the loss of Orhan Seyfi Ari
On the hill-tops at nights he took turns to keep watch & taught by day in
the mid 50s troubled Cyprus and served in the late 70s at a military centre
for communications after the intercommunal troubles as he wrote & taught
'Sometimes he wrote on the Cyprus problem'

His political articles were reviewed in the news-media, also, overseas, and
sometimes translated, summarily, into English in the official Special News Bulletins widely circulated in international diplomatic circles and at the UN |
'This land, oh, this land of beauty!
You make us so alive and mighty!'

His attitude was one of not being easily discouraged, demotivated, in worthy
respects -he persevered to help and inspire with optimism and determination.
'I thought for a life-time, thought and thought, deeply;
I discovered that love is your greatest miracle, surely.'
'Neither anxiety has he, nor fear,
The World like a rubber ball under his feet, rather;
The Sun in one hand, and the Moon in the other.'
From Ari's Mystic Man
'In his retirement, he continued to help people.'
