Paula sent me this graphic to say 'Thank you for submitting an essay to the Women Who Believe Anniversary Contest'. I wrote a little essay about how being a member of WWB has changed me.

I played 'name that tune' in May 2002 at the WWB Cafe Mother's Day page.

Our word for the month in April was 'April Showers'. My pen pal Krys and I had to find as many words as we could made out of the letters in 'April Showers'. Gosh! I love having an 's' because you can make soooooo many plurals!

Wow! My pen pal Krys and I found a whopping 535 words and took first place in the contest!

This was actually my first time to enter a WWB contest using Paint Shop Pro! The tie I made was REALLY ugly - sort of a brown/gold diamond/argyl-type pattern. Looked like something grandpa would wear!

The WWB Cafe Committee had a leaf-decorating contest, so I gave it a try! Well, you know ME with my warped sense of humor......See my leaf below!
