I have been an uber busy bee, so much so that I have been unable to keep intouch with anything or anybody that is not in my direct focus. My visual cortex has become so narrowly singular that I have been able to accomplish a large amount of artwork. Dating FINISHED On XXX, X 2003 is revelatory and I feel that each passing work is better than the next, but that the ones before them are good and important for my growth as an artist.
I have accomplished version 1 of Organic Cubism, my thesis dvd of the 21st century's art movement and have concieved of the next 4 versions. I have been organizing myself and am giving myself till the end of my 25th year (coming this April).
It has been a great collaberative effort where as I have been given help from a musician, filmmaker-editor, a photographer and an illustrator. And I am entering a new friendship with some animators to contribute and another musical band. I have rented a studio with another artist/craftswoman and have 'the space' to present my work. All is a major process, the studio was once an Ammunition/munitions factory and we were given 3 boxes of shells to welcome us. it is in the basement and there are crazy pipes/wires, there are bullet holes in the walls (in the hallway) and the kinetic energy of what this factory once was and is now filled with artists against it, inspires....
I have also been writing a great deal, reworking my old stuff.... I am giving it all a go.
