Organic Cubism - The introduction
We live in a cubic environment.

We are always evolving.

It's the 21st Century.

We've learned.

It's time to be.

It's time to accept.

Time to survive on our own terms.

Come to the notion that we are all humans trying to survive in an increasing non-natural world." - Allon Schemool (2003)

CUBISM

There was a revolution in the art world with Cubism, where life and man became machine, isn't the logical step of a 100 years after that now that we've become part machine and rely on them, shouldn't there be a striving for organicism?

'We live in a cubic world."

There is beauty in the wild, and I want to bring artists together to (at least) try to work together to make a statement of this. Since post-modernism was explored and given an abbreviation (Po-Mo) there hasn't been any terms, any ideals or explorations into newer schools of thought.

And as we continue to build mass produced square architecture, the nameless, the faceless, we further the everchanging non-individualistic glass and mirror design that shocks and awes the beauty of the natural planet, and destroys the magic and wonder of organic-evolution.

Nature is us, is free thought, is free flowing , is slowly encrusting (limiting) into more squares. People are turning into squares as is the urban expansion and suburbs through farmland and countryside. However, before this, there should be recognition that there should be a melding of the two, and this is the movement I propose.

Organic Cubism

a new Art Movement that combines the art movements of the early 20th century (such as dadaism and cubism) with the now (the early 21st century) search for freethinking, free-moving, freeflowing organics, or Organicism, the desire for the simple things, the next true movement.

It's time.
