When did you first become a SW fan?: Around 1982, after seeing Star Wars during one of it's rereleases. Before then, I WANTED to see it but my Mom refused to drive me to the closest theater--40 miles away! But the novelizations were what REALLY hooked me. But I remember the toy commercials and the Star Wars Holiday Special from the 1970's!!! I didn't have the slightest clue what was happening, but it was soooooo cool!
First time to see ANH: Summer of 1982
First time to see ESB: Fall of 1982
First time to see ROTJ: May of 1983, 2nd weekend
Total No. of times to see all the films: PLEASE!!
Fav SW movie: The Empire Strikes Back. It masterfully combines romance, adventure, angst, fear, hatred, love, good & evil in a colorful rollercoaster ride that leaves the other two films in it's wake. If you're a Han Solo & Princess Leia fan, there IS no choice.
Fav SW book: If I have to pick a book, it would be the novelization of Star Wars because it gives us the first insightful glimpse into each main character. But overall I prefer the Marvel comics series--especially when they involved Dani the Zeltron and Leia pairing up for misadventures! And there was more close-calls and romance than those pro books combined.
Other hobbies and obsessions: History (WWII, WWI, anytime is fair game); reading; writing--when I do!; playing with my computer and webpages; putting together a Star Wars zine; PC games like Caesar III; hypnosis; Harrison Ford in general; maintaining Monkey Man
Anything else you want to add: To think I've been on this list for nearly 3
years?! Eeek!
