shakespeare. i also love reading theology, history, and politics.
Fav movies (other than SW): sound of music, cry the beloved country,
joy luck club, schindler's list, scarlet pimpernel, branagh's 4 hr
hamlet, much ado about nothing, working girl, braveheart, etc. . . i
love movies with redemption.
Fav TV shows:Friends and Ally MacBeal.
Fav kinds of music: classical: mozart, tchaikovsky, debussy, chopin,
puccini, etc. . . and "lilith faire" music. i'm a huge sarah mclachlan
fan! and i love swing music
When did you first become a SW fan?:I seriously cannot remember a time when I wasn't.
First time to see ANH: Too young to remember. It's always been a part of my life.
First time to see ESB: late eighties. my parents wouldn't let me see
it when it first came out because they thought the end would upset me
too much. when i was finally able to see it, i couldn't believe i had
been forced to live without it all those years!
First time to see ROTJ: In the theaters, first release. I saw it before ESB.
Total No. of times to see all the films: Way too many, yet not enough.
Fav SW movie: probably esb, but there's nothing like taking a day, or
a night, and watching all three in a row.
Fav SW book: The original trilogy!
Other hobbies and obsessions:: academics and my hoped-for career of
peacemaking between religious leaders (most important thing to me. i'm
inspired by leia's dedication to the alliance). i also love running,
skiing, traveling and swing dancing.
