Net Name: Kitana (I am also known over the net as Skye [though that seems to be overused, so I rarely use it these days], RayneDancer, MahiaSkye, Rouge'sAngel, RoseThornton (my RenFest name), and sometimes as Fiona K. Leonard. But I answer to just about anything...

Real Name: Michelle Slaughter

Email address: [email protected]

Web Page address(?): none as yet....

From: Formerly from the state of Georgia (though you wouldn't know it by my accent--or rather, lack there of); now living in Florida as of May 29 this year.

Occupation: Receptionist for a bunch of nutty, wacked-out guys who sell test equipment (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. If that means nothing to you, don't worry--I don't know what it is, either.) Love the dress code--shorts and T-shirts are the norm here.

Age: 24 (mentally, since the re-release of SW has allowed me to regress, I'd say 12)

Height: 5' 3" (short, but still taller than Carrie [Fisher, that is--as if you didn't know])

Hair (color and length): medium to dark brown, down to waist ( I cut it recently)

Eyes: blue to gray

Marital Status: single and will probably remain that way until I find somebody who isn't threatened by my love for Harrison Ford and at least *understands*--if not approves of--my obsession for SW

Fav Books (other than SW): *other* than SW? That may be asking too much. Let's see, what have I read besides SW? Micheal Moorcock's "Elric" saga, a few of the "Conan" books, "Star Trek: Sarek" by A.C. Crispin, "The Rowan" and "Damia" by Ann McCaffrey, "Gone With the Wind" (much less corny than the movie), "Hamlet," and I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, though I know there are others...

Fav movies (other than SW): "Dances With Wolves," "Robin Hood" (both the Kevin Costner and Erroll Flynn versions); Flynn's "The Sea Hawk" and "Elizabeth the "Queen;" "The Fugitive," Indiana Jones I and III, "Sabrina," "Patriot Games," "Clear and Present Danger," "Air Force One," "Working Girl," (notice a little trend here? maybe I should save myself the cramp in my hands and just say any Harrison Ford movie but Blade Runner, Mosquito Coast, and American Grafitti--the first and last simply because I've never watched them all the way through. And I've never seen "The Frisco Kid"...); "Gone With The Wind" and the John Wayne flicks, "Big Jake," "The Quiet Man," and "MacLintock;" "Sister Act," "Steel Magnolias," "The Princess Bride," "Good Morning Vietnam;" and just about any Rodgers and Hammerstein or Gene Kelly movie--I'm a sucker for old musicals, particularly "Singing In the Rain" (co-starring an 18 year old Debbie Reynolds). I have dozens upon dozens of commercial tapes, but I can't think of any other favorites.

Fav TV shows: ER, of course; Friends; Voyager (I *adore* Chakotay--the only man who can compete with Harry for my affections) and, to a lesser extent, DS9; Xena: Warrior Princess (yes, I *do* actually like that show. Why do you ask?); Touched By An Angel; Dr. Quinn; Frasier; Mad About You; The Practice (can you tell I'm a TV/movie junkie?)

Fav kinds of music: I'll listen to just about anything but heavy or speed metal. I love Richard Marx,Bryan Adams, and Gloria Estefan; I listen to a lot of Celtic music and own tapes I've bought at Renaissance Festivals in GA; also a great deal of soundtrack scores (perfect to set the mood for my writing excursions), and my favorite among these is probably John Williams; also a great deal of Native American-themed music, particularly works by R. Carlos Nakai; I also enjoy Yanni and even (and this surprised even *me*) a little John Tesh. I know, I know...

When did you first become a SW fan?: the first time I saw the film, naturally. I fell head over heels in love with the story.

First time to see ANH: In 1980 when they re-released the film to promote ESB.

First time to see ESB: see above

First time to see ROTJ: 1983. (don't ask me for exact dates on any of these--I only knew that the films were out and I was headed for the theater. I couldn't be bothered by anything so trivial as what the date was. Heck, I barely thought to recall the *year!*)

Total No. of times to see all the films: I lost count long, long ago....

Fav SW movie: ESB--Harry was sooooooo sexy in that one! Yum!

Fav SW book: Back and forth between "Children of the Jedi", the Zahn trilogy, and Cripin's "Paradise Snare."

Other hobbies and obsessions: I don't really have time for anything else. SW is my number one obsession again. I love to write, I enjoy collecting the new toys and models, though--to date--I've only had the time to put together my Star Destroyer model. Haven't tackled any of the others yet, though the Falcon is primed and cut apart, waiting for me to take it back out of the box...

Anything else you want to add: What else can I tell ya? Let's see, I'm of Irish/ Scottish/Native American descent. My Scots blood is two generations removed from the highlands, my grandmother having moved to this country with her family when she was between 8 and 12 (I forget, exactly). We are registered as being of Clan Robertson, "Donachaidh" (dah-nah-kide) in the Gaelic. I do not know exactly where my Irish blood is from as my mother was adopted and can not get all the necessary records to trace it, nor do we know the specifics about the Native American blood, though her grandmother told Mom that each of her parents is half Cherokee and her father was a quarter Creek. I love all things Celtic or Indian (no, I'm not offended by the use of the word "Indian" in place of "Native American"). I'm a Renaissance Faire junkie, or "Renn Rat," and I have performed at the GA RennFest just this past year. I have one brother that I do not claim and (the last time I heard) a nephew I adore by that same brother. I come from a LARGE family--though I've wished otherwise sometimes. Unfortunately, none of my family members share my obsession for all things SW, but a letter to Dark Horse comics four years ago netted me three of the best friends I've ever had who *do*share it. God bless George!! And God bless Lelila and Gator! This list has introduced me to many new friends, and I thank Mary Jo Fox for introducing me to the list. I hope this lasts a long time...
