The MINNS family in Victoria, Australia. My direct paternal line, which I have traced from the Melton and Bacchus Marsh areas in Victoria, Australia back to the Parish of Little Walsingham in Norfolk, England. My 3 x Great paternal Grandfather, George MINNS, born 1808 in Norfolk, England. (parents George MINNS and Ann EBDEN). The earliest information that I have managed to glean, other than their birth and marriage dates is the entry in the 1881 British Census Index. George MINNS married twice in England (1) Eliza LACK and (2) Pheobe LACK.
My current research "Brickwall" is that of my 3 x Great Grandfather, George MINNS, born 1808 in Norfolk, and his parents George MINNS and Ann EBDEN. I would also like to find out some background on this particular family and if the two (LACK) wives were sisters or related in some way. |
