The FLETCHER family (my maternal line), has been traced from Melbourne, Daylesford and Castlemaine in Victoria, Australia, back to Lancashire in England.... Thomas FLETCHER (Occ: Wheelwright, was born 1833 in Lancashire, England to parents John Fletcher and Ellen BROWN. Thomas FLETCHER was married in 1851, to Alice BROMLEY born 1831 in Bolton, Lancashire in England (parents John BROMLEY and Sarah FLETCHER)...

I have found the shipping record for Alice FLETCHER (nee BROMLEY) and one year old son Thomas FLETCHER, I am unable to find the record of Thomas FLETCHER snr.

My current FLETCHER research "Brickwall" is that of my elusive Great great great maternal grandparents, John FLETCHER and Ellen BROWN born early 1800`s in England ... presumably Lancashire.
