I sometimes wondered ... I studied at TARC for a year , and achieve quite good results for my exams ... but life is still not perfect
after all . I'm not trying to boast around here .. it won't make any sense at all . When they looked at my results .. they looked at me as someone so ... great , awesome ?
I don't know , but I don't felt that way so much . I tried my best to keep myself in low profile . But people's mouth are my enemies . And that's what made me a real problematic
person . This had been an issue in my life for many years .. only that I neither wanted to speak nor spit it out since it's a bit controversial , and some people
might consider me boasting . I admit that I'm a geek , I love to study , and I'm proud to be a geek . But because I emphasized too much on studies , I lacked of social skills . I felt
that the way I lived my life is a bit imbalanced ...
Other people might consider my problem as something easier to solve compared to others ... but I'm really worried about it right now . What's the point of studying so much and get good grades
every semesters if I can't graduate or proceed to my Adv. Diploma course just because I lacked of extra-curricular activities ? Joining which society is the BIG question in my mind now .
I've spent almost a year concentrating on my studies , and I thought of taking a break for a while and get a bit active in college . Till now, I haven't contributed anything to my college ,
All I did was hacking into their CITC's CyberEdge client .
Some told me to join sports just like what Chee Sum and Brother Kit did last year . But they are different from me . They lived nearer than me , and time is not the barrier .
For me , every seconds counts . An 8 am class might get me to awake at 6am and waiting for a bus at 6:30 am . Besides , I'm not good at sports .
On the other hand , many said that societies won't earn you much credit hours , which I think the activities will be much more suitable for me .
Some people said that the heavy workload for societies' members . And seriously speaking , the BIG thing is that , what I choose now can determine more than just getting a Diploma or
not , it might determine my future , whether I can achieve my dream as a programmer or not . That was so ironic .
I sometimes agreed with the saying 'no one is born perfect' . Every people have their own interests . Like me , I don't like hiphops or rock musics , I don't know why . As a youngster , it's
pretty normal for them to like new singers or bands , but I'm different . My era is the 80's and the 90's . I started listening to musics since I was young . When my parents
brought me for a walk at Sungei Wang long long time ago , I was confronted with songs from Modern Talking , Micheal Jackson , and other 80's artists , though I don't understand the songs .
Many people might said that I'm pretty outdated , but I don't care so much . It's pretty useless for me to care so much of which artists is the hottest . Music industry is a hot business .
Even when I like S Club 7 , some people might considered me to be an outdated person . I might be like my dad , but no one can actually change my taste of music . It's my own personal feeling .
One game that brought me back to memory lane was Mad Dog McCree from American Laser Games . Long long time ago , back then in the 90's . I was amazed by this game . I was 9 years old that time .
It's actually a shooter game just like Virtua Cop or Time Crisis , and that was the first shooter game I ever played in my life . It uses real life videos with some of the hollywood stunts to make up the game .
The setting is in the cowboy era where the outlaws outnumbered the sheriffs . The bad guys come out , and you have to shoot them . If you got them , it will cut to a scene where the bad guys died , otherwise ,
you're landed in the graveyard . Somehow , I found the PC version of this game at Paragon after 10 years had passed . It was originally an arcade game used to be located at Genting Highlands Indoor Theme Park
back then in 1993 . It costs quite a lot though : RM2 per game . Ironically , I bought this game for only RM6 . Most of the original videos were included in this CD and it uses MPEG-I compression to store the video
data . Back then in the 90's , it uses Laser Discs for better audio and video quality . It was re-released by Digital Leisure Entertainment .
Holiday will be on for all government-schools students starting from this Thursday . Hmm ... wondered what Yvonne will be doing this holiday ....
