KNOPPIX !!! - 27 March 2003

What a Thursday ! I wondered why I woke up so early today without any feeling of tiredness when I slept so late last night at 12:00 am . Strange .

Reached campus a bit early today and DK7 was kind of quiet although it's already noon . Felt kind of boring and loittered at Canteen 1 instead . I was glad that I sa Joan and Chai Boon in the canteen and I talked with them for about 30 minutes . Talking to them to kill my boredom , I didn't noticed that time's up . So , three of us went to DK7 and lecture started 5 minutes later . Arrangement's the topic for today . It's the last part for Statistics 1 syllabus . Permutations and Combination were up today . Sadly , the lecturer didn't finished teaching the last 4 pages ... *sobs*

Hanged at Yap's house for a while . He was at Sungei Wang this afternoon and was looking for video capture card . I'm planning to get one . We'll probably buy the cards together this Sunday ... hopefully . Then I can record stuffs that I wuv . Reached his house at 4:30pm . He showed me some latest J-commercials . There's a new version of FFX available , known as FFX-2 . It's true . I'm not kidding . The storyline is totally different . I wondered why they didn't had FFVIII-2 earlier ?!?!?!

After all , I got the most interesting thingy from him . It's the KNOPPIX CD !!! Cool . I'm sure Daniel will be very enthusiastic to hear more . Well, his hard work really paid . After 25 hours of pure downloading over DSL connection , this is the OS that worth the effort . I'm happy to use the OS . Why didn't it came out when I was first tried out my hands on Linux . Graphics excellent . Boot was very stable too . It automatically recognizes the devices on my system , except for my modem , it runs smoothly and seemlessly . I didn't even had to meddle with the partitions on my hard drive . Here are some screenshots of Knoppix that I captured :

Yin Wei called asking me why I called her yesterday . When I went home , I saw Nick along the way home at Paragon . He said that he will study at TARC too . Cool . Spend most of my time checking out Knoppix and finished up my BM2 tutorial . OO nite VCD might be available tomorrow , hopefully . I'm looking forward for it .
