Hey hey... This is my maiden visit to ORG after shifting to my new apartment! My place is kinda in a mess right now, but things are really improving really fast. The boxes are getting less and lesser, all the furniture and stuffs are back to their places and spots, with a little bit of looking here and there for things once in a while. My father managed to ask Telekom to reconnect the phone line, and as of writing this, I've just got my first Internet connection up and running for about two hours now. I am more than thrilled especially after so many god damn days w/o connection. But there's a catch to all this though. As I've expected, the connection speed here is not as speedy as i would get back at my old place. :-( What to do. This is Life. I used to reach speeds up to 8Kb/s constant while surfing web sites and around 7Kb/s while mass downloading files. Here, i can go only a meagre 2K. How pathetic. Nevertheless, I am trying all my best to 'tweak' the connection speeds. I know it won't do much, but i'd do everything i can for now. The next alternative? ISDN. No, i'm not going to try Streamyx for the time being. Too unsteady for my taste. Maybe some time later.

Yes, onto Knoppix Linux. I've managed to find some good and trusty links to the distro's ISO download. It was a bit tricky at first, having to trudge the long lists of ftp links, but here i have a few http download links for Mun Yau's friend, Yap to download using a download accelerator/manager. I hope this works. If the download manager could only make one single connection to the server, then that's the best bet. Here are the links. Here i list down three links. You can use ANY one of the links below, i am supplying you more alternative links so that if one fails to download you can always use another one in the list.

[ Knoppix Linux 3.2 English ISO ]

I hope Mun Yau and Yap have not attempted to download the distro by themselves because they might download the wrong distro. The distro version that i am lookig for is Knoppix Linux v3.2, ISO, English(EN) Release: 2003-03-24(Latest). I do not need the MD5 file and the .asc file. I also do not need the boot image file. I just hope that you guys didn't download the German version.

My flu is slowly healing now, thank god, and i'm looking forward to complete recovery pretty soon. Mun Yau, if there's any problem whatsoever downloading the distro, call me using my same home number. Gtg now, take care.
