I've begin to realize that some Internet attacks started to follow Sun Tzu's pattern . Let's take
MSBlaster and Swen virus for instance . Instead of attacking your PC like a blind elephant , they would rather
make you defenseless first before executing their main plan . You can imagine them as HIV virus . MSBlaster
tries to disable your PC's ability to patch its system from Microsoft's server , allowing your PC for more other threats .
Instead of attacking your PC solo , why not make it stereo ? Swen is also another example. It shuts off your PC's antivirus
program ability to detect some viruses , leaving the program to a sweet dream , like a big elephant being shot with a tranquillizers ,
while the culprit begin to unleash its evil plot ... ( Maybe I watched too much movies these days ) ....
The Swen virus took a step further using some mischievious social engineering . Well , you can imagine something like ...
A stranger who identified himself as a gas stove repair person , offering a free checkup to your stove , and started to threaten
you that the stove might blow up your house as if there is a live TNT counting down to blow you out of this world , if you don't give it a service even though
you knew it won't . You let him in , and he , again , unleashed his almighty evil plot .... .
Speaking of strangers , there were two morons visited our house saying that they were offering us a "free stainless steel cookware".
Their attitude obviously , even to a kid , betrayed their thinking . I was laughing to myself looking at how they offered the thingy . They acted like
a small girl , and it is like they would somehow die in a scary manner , if we don't accept the gift . Weird ...
I was wondering when checking out the ASTRO's channel guide . Question marks started to come out of my head . I just wondered why
ASTRO can't simply make one channel specifically called TechTV instead of sharing with as always ,the lamey TV Pendidikan ? The fact is that , I was very
unsatisfied with ASTRO for airing TechTV's Call For Help only once a day ( I mean it , once in 24 hours ) . No encores . The worst thing is that ,
Call For Help will only be aired at 2:00am . Yes , I'm not kidding , 2.00am , as in 0200 hours . Come on , who will gonna be such a moron to wake up
at 2 in the morning to watch CFH . Me and Daniel are fans of Call For Help . The Screen Savers is not enough for us . Sometimes , we can't get things in
TSS and we need to watch CFH . I also wondered why TV Pendidikan can't be aired on national TV , since there were almost 5 U/VHF channels .. . Let's just face it ....
not all of us have ASTRO , and would they be so stupid to subscribe to ASTRO just to watch show on TV Pendidikan ? Give me a break ...
By the way , ASTRO's gonna make us to be confused once again . For those who missed the notice from ASTRO , flashing on TV at 3.8 x 108 ms-1 , about the channel swapping thingy next month ,
