We continued the game a bit later today because Dad wanted me to look for some info
regarding language courses at a particular language center . It is almost 2:10pm when I reached Simon's place .
Where did I stopped ? Oh , yes ! The part where we need to shoot down the SEMTEX's fuses . The last one is located behind
the 'Sons of Liberty' flag . I let Simon , our sniping expert , to handle this extremely difficult task . Once the fuse's down , we once
again been introduced to another cut scene where Pliskin introduced Raiden to Otacon , and Solidus made his first appearance .
He identified himself as Solid Snake , and Pliskin does not hessitate anymore and warned Raiden of the danger ahead of him . Solidus
piloted a Harrier ( The plane in 'True Lies' ) , and he also acted like Arnold ! Snake dropped me a stinger missile and some rations to take that
Harrier down . It's pretty easy to shoot it down , but it's scary when it started to shoot out cluster bombs to kill me .
After the battle , we need to get through Shell 2's core and rescue the President . There were lots of Acrobat activities around, so , I let Simon to do it again .
When I reached the core , I met Olga again and eavesdropped her conversation with Solidus . According to the conversation, due to the impact
from the explosion that destroyed Shell 1-2 connecting bridge , we need to get through Shell 1 via Strut L's oil fence . Besides , Olga
maximized security when she electrified the floor that follows to the President's room .
Guess what ? I need to get to level B1 of the same area and had to swim around like a fish to find a Nikita
remote control missile launcher . The place as flooded due to the impact from Fat Man's bomb . I saw Peter Stillman's
corpse there too . I tried to shoot the electric panel in the President's room once I found the launcher . The president
started to tell me a long story about the Patriots' stuffs , and how I can destroy Arsenal Gear , the ultimate Metal Gear .
I then informed that I need to find Emma , Otacon's younger sister , to deactivate Arsenal Gear for good .
Again , I need to swim through B1's area in search for Emma . When I reached her place , I met Vamp AGAIN ?!?!?!? Yeah , it's true .
He's back . And I need to kill him . He's such a moron . He's way too easy to kill . The trick is to use a RBG-launcher to shoot grenades at him .
The impact can shoot him back into the water so that he can't use his weapons . The grenades can also be used as a mine in the water . Just shoot the grenade into the water
and if he hit the grenade , it will inflict some damage .
When the battle was over , I tried to locate Emma. She was hiding in a locker . Cut scene time again . I need to escort Emma to Shell 1
and guess what ? She's has hydrophobia . And as Adam Sessler said : "We hate escorting missions" . It's true particularly when I need to swim her
in the flooded places , and I screwed up one time . The control was a bit hard , but somehow , we made it . We then proceed to Sturt L , and
reached the oil fence not long after that . The climax of the story has just started ....
Since the oil fence can only occupy one person , Me and Solid Snake are required to protect Emma from a distance . Thus , there are some sniping activity going on .
Once we successfully escorted Emma alongside the fence , Vamp jumped out from the water and took the poor girl's hostage . Without any hessitation ,
I hold my breath and shot at Vamp's head a few times . His lifebar is shorter now, but Emma's life is threaten also . The battle's over , but I still failed
to save Emma because she was stabbed by Vamp . Snake immediately brought Emma to Strut 1's Computer room and I'm running out of time . I quickly went to the place , and hopefully ,
we can save the world on time .
Nothing we could do that time but watching the long cut scene . It was sad , though . For those who had a fragile heart , you would cry out .
A lot of feelings were mixed . Somtimes it feels sad , touched , and rebellious . Solidus , Ocelot , and their evil plans must be stopped once and for all .
This time , the ninja revealed its true identity . We were shocked to know that the ninja was ....... Olga ? Snake was also there .
What does that mean ? Solid Snake's a bad guy ? Hmm .. I wondered ...
Raiden was shocked by a high frequency blade and passed out . When he awakens , he found himself in the torture chamber . All I can see are Solidus and Ocelot . We stopped there
since it's almost 6 o'clock in the evening . I showed Simon E3's Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater's trailer . He was quite impressed
with the game and he was tickled by the advertisement promoting the game . Yeah . They did have some sense of humour , after all . Saw Yap's GM
when I was waiting for a bus and , the bus arrives earlier than before . Reached home at 6:40pm .
Guess what ? We have played the game for almost 3 days and the grand finale is not so far from us I felt kind of anxious about it , even though
I already knew how the ending goes , well , it's kind of sweet to share the ending with Simon , one more time . It's very dramatic , though ......
