I like the new slogan for TechTV . Its better than its previous slogan : Television about Technology .. duh ! It's pretty lame . Anyway , TechTV's started to be competitive like other television channels . I like TechTV in the sense that , it's not just about learning , come on ! That's spells BORING ! It's more than just learning . It's all about edutainment . You learn new things while having fun . That's the best way , in my opinion , when you want to learn something. It's an encore : TSS rocks !!!! Leo and the gang really did a great job ! I began to like the show very much . When I viewed the show , it's pretty boring , cuz they just babbled a lot at first . I like the concept of the show that is targetted for geeks like us . Not most of all . TSS is for every people who devoted their life to computing .

The hardware of my PC started to get cheeky nowadays . Who knew that my PC's mouse started to run around hysterically and started to misbehave itself . Let's get to the point . My mouse started to lost its x-axis coordination and I can only move the mouse pointer up and down . It's pretty frustrating as I still have my web page design assignment to finish up before deadline . The first thing that came into my mind is to replace the mouse with an old mouse which I used to work around when I was with my old PC . Sad things , the installation of my old mouse was incomplete as I borrowed my Win 98 CD to Brother Kit . Big deal . The mouse started to have hardware conflict with my onboard soundcard maybe because the serial port and the soundcard shares the same bus , or maybe not ? It had been three days since I didn't turn on my trusty mp3 player .

I booted my PC with Knoppix as a last resort . I'm totally agree with Knoppix as a boot disc ( or disk ) as a last resort for it provides me with a full diagnostics utilities when my PC broke down like a overheated vehicle . Sometimes , I can use it as a way to backup my hard drive when I can't access my hard drive via MS-DOS . Same thing , the speaker just iteratedly 'speaking' to me .... initiating , initiating , initiating , and initiating . Again , I repleced back my 'sick' mouse . The mouse gained back its 'x-axis' , and I can play my mp3 without any problems with the XMMS player . I also discovered that Knoppix has its own video capturing software too . It's called Xaw-TV . Cool ! Looked like the BIOS just accepted my old mouse as an 'ALIEN' , poor mouse !!!

I was so unsatisfied yesterday night when Spy School just turned out to be Fresh Gear . I can't watch the show at 8 because dad wanted to watch FM701 on Wah Lai Toi . I wondered what happened to Astro and TechTV nowadays . The schedules always got so wrong that I haven't watch even one show of Spy School . Hopefully , I can watch the show tonight for I believe that it's a cool show .

Neways , I've optimized the aerial connection from my Astro DMT to my room . Now that I can capture videos , I can also 'screen-grab' videos. There is one thing I discovered different on TechTV shows : The logos disappeared !! Here's the proof :
