Theory of RELATIVEity - 3rd February 2003
Nothing's been funner than
visiting my relatives this Chinese New Year. I've suffered for 2 days and
finally , it's PAYBACK time ! . I woke up kind of early this morning and
felt a bit lazy to get off the bed since I watched TV till 12 something
. Online for a while and felt very very frustrated because of the connection.
The speed is totally sucks ! The rate is just like -1.1 kBps ! I can't even
connect at all ! If it isn't TCP/IP problem , it would be password problem
, although I keyed-in the password correctly . I wonder what happened to
TMnet nowadays ?
Five minutes later , I was finally able to connect to the Net ... at
26,667 bps only . Checked Daniel's blog . Felt sorry for his CNY .. I hope
you can face the fact that your PC were formatted , Daniel ! . Typed the
URL of my Yahoo! Mail and then .. Dang ! The connection was terminated .
Again , I had a hard time connecting .. and you should be able to guess
... I just forget about connecting to the Net .
At 9.30 am , me and my mom left home for the 176 bus . Traffic is kind
of free flowing today and we were not having trouble travelling to Ampang
Park LRT station. Most of the passengers were Malay . We reached Kelana Jaya
at 10.30 and 7th aunt fetched us to her house . It's been a while since I
didn't visit her house .
It was still early that time . Me and my mom were to second to arrive . The first was 8th aunt . Upon reaching her house , Edmund greeted us with a warm welcome . The TV set was showing the awards show on Phoenix .
Not long after that , most of the relatives arrived . That time , I
was darn busy receiving angpows ... hehehe .. They just had a quick chat
before they start gambling : their major league in this gathering . They
played the game for quite a while there before we moved on to a restaurant
for a lunch . Andy fetched us to the restaurant .
The food was not bad. Only that I felt kind of full since I loaded my stomach full of CO2s .
Back to my aunt's house , we continued gambling until 7.30 pm . I had
a good time there .. compared to the first day ! Time does fly. Although
I was kind of tired , but I'm very happy . Before going home , I wished Andy
good luck . He'll be going back to Melbourne on the 6th . He'll gonna go
through another orientation day ... you lucky guy ! Daniel , you're the next
!
Sook Fun SMSed me just now telling me to go to Chew Hoong's place at
10 am . I have no idea how to go to her place so , I phoned Daniel instead
. He was also out of idea , and he'll phone me again later .
