CNY is a beast this year with nothing much to offer but sparse light rain to make the mood bleak to most of us, including me of course. Melvin seemed to have had a boring celebration. Well, it happened to many others. I am, unfortunately no exception. To tell the truth, this is the second day of CNY and i have yet to find something exciting to do. No visiting on the first day, just went to the temple to pray, and that was all of it. Pretty boring, no, darn boring. Same as Melvin, watched TV almost the whole day. I love the movie "Chinese Odyssey" shown on CH30 Astro. It was real funny, i nearly fell off my chair.

Most of my time was spent on reviving my system. Still in bad shape. Though i've successfully reinstalled Windows and most of the software, still a lot is lacking. For instance, my research papers and documents were all gone in a flash, nearly irreplaceable. Searching for software on the net and installing everything, from browsers to p2p clients, to antivirus software and patterns, firewall software, to mp3 players, is really a pain-in-the-ass task. But it was kinda fun, it filled up all my CNY time.

Had lots to talk about, but my eye lids are nearly shutting. I'll be looking forward to more exciting and fun things to do the next few days to keep me going again...
