CNY Blues - 1st February 2003

Chinese New Year this year is totally different from the previous years. I felt damn boring since the first day of it. This year , we're not going anywhere. Its inaccessible for dad to travel anywhere despite his health. So , we just sit at home watching television instead. I mean , it's like I'm in another world. I'm doing things that I didn't do before in the previous CNYs. I went to Paragon Point and play SOGEKI .. ( speaking of Paragon , that place was damn quiet . Most of the loitterers were Malay ) . When I reached home , things went more miserable when I just planned to sleep .

Yvonne SMSed me in the afternoon to wish me 'Happy Chinese New Year' . Then , I just went to sleep for almost 2 hours . I lost all of my mood celebrating it . 2 hours later , that's 3 o'clock , I woke up and just switched on the TV set and watched U-571 on AXN. The show was kind of action-packed . Had my lunch not long after that , and played Ghost Recon . Thank Goddess I finished that game . Mission 14 was kind of tough . I spent two days to finish Mission 14.

After finishing the game, I thought of starting to plan for Mr.Ong's system . Planned for the file design and menu design. Nothing much . There's still things that I'm not sure about. I need to meet Mr.Ong again on the 5th for more details . Yvonne SMSed me again to tell me that she wanted to study in Form Six this year . She can't online that night since her mouse was in a sticky situation . Had a good time chatting with her over SMS and I'm glad that I had a good pet sister like her.

Watched TechTV late at night since I had bad time sleeping . Watched Call For Help since I missed the show this afternoon . I like the icon part . That guy's really a genius in creating icons . Chris' still a funny guy. He danced with that fat guy 'on the desktop' ... nah ! He's just danced in front of a blue screen . But still , it looked kind of real . Speaking of TechTV , I'm kind of happy because they finally broadcast 'The Screen Savers' . I've been waiting for the show for almost 4 months . Frankly speaking , I haven't watched The Screen Savers before for as long as I had my Astro TV network . Can't wait for that show .

Monday will never the same again. Me an my mom will be going to my aunt's house where we'll be having a gathering between our relatives. I'll be very happy since I can meet them again and chat again . I've downloaded Opera 7.0 browser just now and as I expected , there's a lot of improvements done . It supports JavaScript , CSS stuffs , and most of all , the UI is truly awesome . The bad thing is , my Internet connection was freaking slow . So , I can't unleash the true power of Opera *sobs* .
