| This is basically a party after prom, and lots of people say this is the best part about prom as a whole. You have time (about an hour or so) to go either home or someone's house to change out of your dress/tux and into every day clothes, like jeans and a nice shirt. Some people stay in their fancy clothes, but remember to keep in mind the activities that you are going to be participating in. No one really dresses up. At my post prom this year, there were even people in slippers. Just to be different, I wore a feather boa. It was at a bowling ally, and there was lots of free food (like pizza, pretzels, cheese puffs) and pop. The seniors all got great prizes like DVD players and TVs. Post prom ususally lasts until between four and six in the morning. Other options for post prom may be at a comedy club, miniature golfing, laser tag, or ice skating. |
