If you have nice nails, why not just paint them yourself? File them before you paint them to avoid chipping. Don't wear dark polish at all for a week before prom because dark colors can be hard to remove. Use a cream to soften the cuticles before you push them back; this will help them to move with ease and without pain. Use at least two coats of polish, but let each coat dry before applying another. If you bite your nails or have shorter nails, fake nails are a good option. It doesn't cost much and it's really easy to apply them yourself. Going to a salon and getting a layer of acrylic done is usually cheap as well. They look really nice, but they are obviously fake. |
