"Jaws is about a great white shark taking over Amity Beach. After a boy is eaten in front of everyone, Chief Brody (Scheider) is sent to get someone to take care of the shark. Brody hires a fisherman (Shaw) to capture and kill the shark. Along side them is the ichtyologist/marine biologist (Dreyfuss) who is there to let them understand the shark. This movie is great, a true classic of the time. Jaws gets a 10 out of 10. I guarantee this film will leave a fear of the ocean in you, it is that good."
In my opinion "Jaws" was a great movie, we won't start in on the sequel, but the orignal was amazing. Everyone should see this movie I give it 2 thumbs up!

"Deep Blue Sea" was a good movie, it concentrated on mainly the use of brain matter to help people with Alzheimer's disease. The main marine animal in the movie was the shark, and it plays a very scray role. I give this movie a thumb and a half up.
Inside her multi-million dollar research center "Aquatica," Doctor Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows) breeds a new generation of sharks with genetically engineered brains. These fish's enlarged brains will provide the right amount of a unique tissue needed to secure her miracle cure for Alzheimer's disease. The promise of a revolutionary treatment blended with the doctor's headstrong ambition for power, produce the perfect formula for trouble. Shark expert Carter Blake (Thomas Jane), financial investor Russell Franklin (Samuel L. Jackson), scientist Jim Whitlock (Stellan Skarsgard), and Aquatica's chef, Sherman "Preacher" Dudley ( LL Cool J as the film's comic relief), are among the few who are trapped inside a crumbling Aquatica after the family of intelligent and resentful sharks decides to rebel.

Relying heavily on its sharks' reputation more so than on their performance, Deep Blue Sea contains numerous clumsy situations and absurd resolutions that weaken the plot. After the scientific premise is announced, little is left other than the fear of the vicious predators' persecutions, a few but very graphic encounters, and a final moral lesson that speaks of the unjust tampering with nature and of the shark's powerful instinct to be free.
