Zdeno "Hell With the Puck Man" Chara greatest hits (and
misses)
September 7, 2001 (World title fight) W KO 9 - Since
comming back from retirement, Zdeno went 6-0-2 (6/0). Putting away
fighters like Kronprinsen Everestsson, Sexy Sadie, ask him to join your
gym too, and The Saint Bernard. Colossus Imperious was his task at
hand (Former of Joe's gym, now with SEB) Getting his 2nd chance at
a World title Zdeno was ready. He fought inside and work Colossus
body badly. By the 4th round Colossus eye was swelling and his ribs
were hurting bad. With the fight close in the 8th round, Zdeno came
into the ring giving it his all. Colossus went down for a 6 count.
9th round came and Zdeno was all over the hurt Colossus, and Colossus was
droped for the 10 count. Zdeno is world champion!
February 2, 2001 W KO 12 - After allmost a year off, Zdeno
comes back to the ring to face Joe's Kronprinsen Everestsson. Zdeno
looked very fit and showed no ring rust. Zdeno stole the show and
then sent Kronprinsen to the floor in the 12th.
July 7, 2000 (World title fight) L 12 - A close
fight with all judges scoring it 113-115 to The Saint Bernard. The
fight card was to be huge. But it can out to being to fighters just
fellin' each other out for the first 10 rounds and no one stepping it up.
A lack luster of a fight, but close in the end. Zdeno would lose
two more fights after his try at the title. He then would soon retire
for the rest of 2000. Not returning untill February 2, 2001.
