Olga and Konstantin fell in love with the Black Russian Terrier, and in 1998 they officially registered their kennel, "Orlinoe Gnezdo". Since that time, all puppies born in the kennel bear the title, "IZ ORLINOGO GNEZDA". At the organization of working dog owners, "KSS", Olga provided seminars on the technical aspects of breeding BRTs. Konstantin trained and explained behaviorial characteristics of the breed. During the years 1990 - 2000 they gathered much information on training, feeding, development, upbringing, and care of the breed.
One of the most sucessful dogs they own is NICK. He is shown all across the Russian Federation, with excellent show results. As you can see, Konstantin and Nick are real buddies. This is a standard greeting.
Through careful inbreeding of dogs who had desirable characteristics, the Nochevkins managed to establish and strengthen the type of BRT which was considered most desirable. Their breeding work was praised highly by the president of the national BRT breed club, Marina Gerasimova. She and many other experts noticed excellent bone structure, and general body build, which included a large head, strong neck, and full chest. There was aslo praise for balanced movements, a fluid stride, and a smooth gait. Of course the most important visual aspect of the BRT is a full and thick coat which has the proper structure. The proof their breeding efforts are seen in their puppies! Some are no longer puppies, and are taking their turn at enhancing the breed.
