Wet and Wild at Harrah
Do you believe in Magic? "IT" was all around, overflowing in the parking lot, the pit area, bleachers, the Video cameras and in the minds of the youngest and the oldest riders. What is IT? IT is the feeling, the Thunder, the Excitement none less than that felt on early Christmas morning by a young child. IT is anticipation of the race, the feeling when you get into your gear. IT is the experience you get when you roll into the arena from the back door, see the bright lights and the fans in the stands. IT is taking the checkered flag in front of everyone.
A small amount of Magic Potion #10 was applied sparingly to the dirt Inside the OK Corral prior to Saturday nights big "Show Down". What is Magic Potion #10 you ask, Magic Potion #10 is a secret blend and combination of cutting, shaping, forming, wetting, massaging and packing the race track dirt. And that magic was at Harrah Saturday. It provided a race surface that most the races were happy with. Is it Magic? Sure seems so, it continues to produce miracles on dirt that has otherwise lost its compactness properties. Wet It is distributed by Scotty Adams.
The IT and the Magic where blended together to form a magical memorable night. AMP Master of Ceremonies and Motorcycle Announcer Dr. Jack Rhodes along with Jerry Warner from the Oklahoma Sports Park barely kept up with the pace of the Indoor Short Track. The pair interviewed race teams in the pit area and on the front straight following practice.

Justin Elswick took two wins, starting in last spot following mechanical while leading his qualifying heat. Elswick makes it six wins in a row in the series.. Hope Robinson beat the boys again. Hope told the crowd that she was voted as the Most Improved Rider for the AMP ‘04-‘05 season.
Four year old Dalton Misner of Kansas rode his first Indoor, and finished on the podium in 3rd place. Dr. Rhodes asked the young rider if he liked racing and he answered with a big YES. The crowd loved him and his answers and gave him a well deserved round of applause.
Jeff Bostic won in the Open Pro Singles aboard the JRC Racing entry Yamaha. Team owner John Calvert brought 2 professionally prepared Yamahas, One ridden by Anthony Varano the other by Bostic. Riding with the Calvert Calvery was Old Pro Vintage rider Jimmy Long, who now rides a BDI prepared Yamaha. Long won the Vintage 600. Long, raced for K&N Yamaha in the late 1970's Frank Bardaro rode his Triumph Twin to another win in the Vintage A Twins, that bike was once owned by Mike Kidd.
