Carter County Dodge and Budweiser provided some great trophies and promotion for the 5th Round of the Budweiser Outlaw Winter Nationals held in Ardmore Dec 4.
100 racers converged on the Hardy Murphy Coliseum Saturday Night December 4 for the running of round # 5 of the Budweiser Outlaw Winter Nationals Dirt Track Race Series held in Ardmore, Oklahoma. A great crowd of fans and supporters got vocal with applause and shouts of victory during the nights races.
The racing action was again settled right at the finish line in most of the races held Saturday. The Dash for Cash combined the Vintage Pro-AM and Open Pro Singles in an Australian Prusuit style four lap feature. Justin Elswick aboard the Hunt Brothers AMP Dopps Machine Honda, won two classes prior to the dash. Elswick was looking for a perfect Sweep for the round, when Tim Kay on the Anderson Cycle KTM got past Elswick at the final few feet of the Dash contest to take the money home. Mark Williams aboard the Garvis Honda started between turn 3 and 4, and if he won it from there had an opportunity to win a bonus purse. Tim Kay won the dash money provided by the crowd at Hardy Murphy.
Round #6 will be held back at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum Sat January 15. Mark you calendar, and invite your friends to come and enjoy some of the best Indoor Short Track racing at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum on January 15.
