Austin Medrano out of Mustang, Oklahoma aboard the Orbin Adams tuned Honda took top honors at the Final Round AMP Carter County Dodge Budweiser Outlaw Winter Nationals Indoor Points Championships Sunday April 10 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Neal Whitaker, the AMP Track Master, made the track wider and wetter with a harder packed surface. The racing action was hot from the bottom to the top of the track. The points races in several classes, which were close were decided April 10, 2005 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the Final Round in the famous Hardy Murphy Coliseum.

History was made as Mustang Oklahoma’s Austin Medrano riding his Orbin Adams tuned 85cc Honda won the second annual Flat Track Illustrated – Light Shoe 85cc Five State Championship Open Invitational race. This race was sponsored in part by Richard’s Racing from Lake Charles Lousiana – Daley’s Speed Shop and Maxima Oil Over $600 in cash and awards were won by the 85cc Class contestants team owners. The 10 Lap Final was won by Medrano with Pottsboro, Texas rider Hunter Watson second and Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Colton Cameron in third spot.

The Pro 600 Vintage contest was won by Bill Walker , in a battle with Convington, Texas rider Tim Kay aboard the Anderson Cycle KTM and John Meeker riding the Wayne’s Machine Honda. Open Pro Singles top finisher was Chance Osborn aboard his Randy Bowen Chevrolet sponsored Yamaha, Kansas rider Aaron Lindfors finished second on his Honda of Salina/T&R Racing Honda.

Nathan Varano got back on his game winning two in a row in both the PW A and 65cc divisions, Varano is sponsored by Ace Unlock and A1 Express Towing from Tulsa.

Hunter Watson won the PW B class on his KTM and placed second in the 65 and PW A class contests.
