| Bill and I were married on a hot August Saturday (08/07/1999) in my parents' backyard at 11:00 a.m. About ninety guests attended, half of which left quickly after the short twenty-minute ceremony due to the heat. The wedding was nice and simple, just as intended. The one aspect we received the most compliments on was the shuttle service: Guests parked down the road at a local shopping center, and two large vans, loaned for the day by my grandsparents and by my godparents, and driven by my cousin and my uncle, shuttled guests back and forth. Immediately following the reception, which was held in the same place, Bill and I spent two nights at a bed and breakfast in Natchez, Mississippi. |
