This is a view of downtown Seattle taken from I-5 northbound. We were on our way home from one of our few full days off. We spent the first half of the day hiking (see pictures below) and the second half was spent shopping for a piece of furniture in Renton.

This is one of the awesome views we experienced while hiking near Twin Falls, 35 miles east of Seattle on I-90. In the upper middle of the picture you can see Twin Falls, which is quite a distance from us at this point.

This is probably the best waterfall you can experience in the state of Washington - Snoqualmie Falls. The falls are at a very low capacity right now, since we have not yet experienced the winter rains and spring melts. We intend to go back when there is enough water to push that log that you can barely see over the edge.

The cedar chest I purchased as extra seating in our living area. I converted its hardwood top into a comfortable seat by adding a foam pad and upholstering it. There is ample storage inside the chest, where I keep magazines and books.
