| We spent our third and fourth nights of camping here, after spending a night in the frost at Madison, which is at a higher elevation. The white terraces at left are calcium carbonate that precipates out of the water as it gently flows over time. The whiteness indicates newer formations that have not "dirtied". |
| The picture below left is just me standing in front of the Mammoth Terraces, which are also shown above. Below right is a formation called "Liberty Cap," which is right next to the terraces. |
