The House Atreides

Thats the most powerfull house to play tech level 6 and 7 in Dune 2000. The Sonic tanks are very powerful, but must be used right and they can't be left alone. Since they can cause damage to all the area in front of them, u must control them carefully to avoid killing your own units. It's recommended that you make groups with different units between Sonics, otherwise the enemy may run units among them, making them kill each other.

To play against the Harkonnen, when the opponent builds massive groups of devastators and sardaukars, you will need to set up stoped barriers with sonics and missile tanks. Put the sonics on the front line and fill their back with missile tanks. That is a very powerfull defensive formation and will neutralize the enemy's devastators, since their range is not so long and untill they approach they will be taking severe damage. If the enemy builds missile tanks, just line up the sonics and attack. Each sonic will kill at least 2 missile tanks.

To play against the Ordos, build troopers and sonics. Use the sonics to attack sieges and infantry and then bring the troopers to finish the rest of the units.
