OF DEGREES

0°_Neophyte Novice. Before you are recommended for First Degree
Initiation you must already have shown interest, ability, development, a fair
knowledge of occult and metaphysical subjects, and a sincere desire for truth
and enlightenment.

1°_Entered
Initiate You are expected to lay the foundation for
your spiritual growth and evolution by becoming familiar with a course of
study, and by practicing certain exercises which will develop psychic abilities
and mental discipline. By helping or
assisting the other members in the operation of the order, preparation of a
temple, or conducting of rituals. To
benefit the Order in whatever way possible, physical, material, or
emotional. To learn from example. To develop a solemn attitude of reverence
and decorum befitting an Initiate and adequate for the arduous path you have
undertaken. (Comparable to Apprentice Grade of Freemasonry and Associate Degree
of Martinist Order.)

2°_Entered Adept Where
previously you were expected to assist and observe, now you are expected to actively
enter into the conflict of forces and do battle as a warrior. The work of the
2nd Degree is the Wedding of the Contraries and Reconciliation of the
Oppositions of Life. It requires
inquiry into the nature of Good and Evil, Life and Death, Black and White. The Blindfold is taken off and you must be
prepared for what you see. It is the
most arduous degree, and you will be expected to experience isolation, the Dark
Night of the Soul, the Mystic Death and subsequent Rebirth or
Regeneration. When you have learned to
see all opposites as joined and wedded to one another, the underlying unity
will appear and the light of understanding will come flooding in. Enlightenment will occur and you will
experience a spiritual rebirth or regeneration. (Comparable: Fellow Craft

3°_Master Adept Having
become regenerated, you are rejoined with your origin, from which you have been
exiled. You are now ready to view the
world with the newly opened eyes of understanding. The work of the highest degree is to observe the principles of
esoteric mysticism in the physical world, in modern science, and in our daily
lives. The five leaves of the Hermetic
Book of Life (Vibration. Frequency.
Periodicity. Harmony. Polarity,) Ten Leaves of the Book of Man (Meditation on
the 10 Sephiroth of the Kaballah in the Path of the Lightning bolt.) Mastery in
techniques of ritual. Correspondence of
all religions. Integration of
spirit. Reintegration with the rest of
humanity. Journey to the mountain
top. Visible and Invisible Orders. The 3rd Degree is the highest degree taught
by the Order Without A Known Name. Both
2nd and 3rd Degree Initiates are expected to contribute papers and lectures on
their field of expertise to the theoretical archives of the order and to assist

4°_Independent
Adept The 4th Degree
is an independent grade during which the adept is absolved of all vows of
loyalty to the order and is free to undertake magical workings in his own name
under his own authority. Develop his
own theory or system of magick. Write a
treatise. Undertake practices outside
the scope or against the principles of this Order. Do Satanic invocations.
Do the 6 Moons conjuration of Abramelon. A good time to seek initiation in one of the accredited Visible
Orders such as A.M.O.R.C. or O.T.O.
Found your own Order. Seek
Mastery. Seek knowledge and
conversation with Ascended Masters.
Experience the transcendent state.
Ascension. Return. (Compare:

5°_Magister Templis (Master of
the Temple) After you return from your
ascension and independent experence, you may decide whether you want to remain
independent, or if you want to become active once again in the Order Without a
Known Name. You will be eligible to
establish your own Chapter of the order, or to help in the administration or
take over the direction of this one.
You may wish to become active in the teaching, administration, and
guidance of newer initiates. Master of
the Temple. Director of the Order. The 5th Degree is the highest degree
possible in the Order Without a Known Name.

6°_Ascended Master Ascended
Master is reserved for those adepts no longer possessing earthly bodies, yet
who remain active on the Astral or Etheric plane as Cosmic Masters or Masters
of the Past.

7°_Unmanifested It is the
merging with or becoming All-That-Is.
Annihiliation of the Individual Identity. Nirvana. Pleroma. Godhead. End of Cycle.
