Recent ORDAINED Updates
May 3rd - The ORDAINED Heavy Metal Revival Crusade rolled SINto Charlottesville, VA for our debut performance of 2002. The club we were booked SINto had absolutely no clue as to what they were in for. We were only able to use about 1/2 of our stage gear because of space limitations. We ended up knocking out fuses on two different occassions when we became the first band to ever use pyrotechnics in the Tokyo Rose. Thanks to all who made it out, and just for the record...... when we find out who stole our stage prop, we are going to make sure that you regret it for the rest of your fucking scumbag life.
May 2nd - Just got off the phone with Grasshopper. He is graduating from all his training in the United States Marine Corps. He will be stationed in Jacksonville, NC for now. ORDAINED will be performing in New Bern, NC (about 45 minutes from Jacksonville, NC) in June. Grasshopper has assured us that he will bring as many people as possible to the Revival Crusade when we roll SINto NC.
April 28th - ORDAINED has just completed the photo shoot for our new promo pictures. Our photographer met us earlier today and took 48 pics. Half are color & the other are black & white. We will begin posting some of them in our gallery section as soon as we get them developed.
April 28th - This pertains ONLY to people who are getting emails and/or mailings from our former record label! For those of you who signed up on the ORDAINED mailing and/or email lists a while back..... should you receive anything from someone other than ORDAINED (we have had a few complaints about this subject), and NO LONGER want to get them, you can email us here at [email protected] and we can give you SINstructions on how to have your name/address taken of their list. When we left the label, they kept copies of our mailing lists. Apologies from ORDAINED to any congregation members who may be receiving unsolicited mailings.
Week of April 20th - ORDAINED has received our first piece of hate mail directed at our new guitarist, Mike Pagan. A female (imagine that) is pissed that he not only left Charlottesville and moved to Va. Beach, but also that he joined forces with The Minister Of Sinister & his Disciples Of Destruction. The entire band is looking forward to meeting her in person when we perform our first Revival with Mike on guitar. That Service is scheduled for May 3rd in, you guessed it, Charlottesville, VA.
April 20th - ORDAINED has been asked to perform at the Metal Mindrage Music festival on the Eastern Shore of VA. This will be an ALL AGES performance. To those of you on the Eastern Shore, don't miss your chance to see ORDAINED live on stage!
April 18th - NEW promtional SINformation has been mailed out to 'zines in Germany, France, The Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey and Argentina. ORDAINED may also be doing SINterviews for a couple of these 'zines. We will keep you SINformed, and as soon as we get confirmation, the news will be posted here.
April 12th - The Reverend added more ink to his left arm today. Sledding up to see Jerry at Toucan Tattoo, The Rev hopped in the chair and had a custom drawm "Ace Of Spades" spider etched inside his arm, just above his elbow. The new work is approx. 4 1/2" X 3 1/2".
April ?? - Mike Pagan added to his body art with two new tattoos. He now has an ORDAINED "crown of thorns" logo on the middle outside of his right arm, and the title of one of our new songs, "Dead Zone", inked onto his right forearm.
