Past ORDAINED Updates
April 10th - ORDAINED will be SINtering our studio within the next few weeks to record a brand new tune for SINclusion on the "Dark Assembly Volume 2" compilation CD. The producer of the compilation personally asked ORDAINED to take part in the effort. This will enable us to release a track with our new guitarist Mike Pagan, and also get us geared up to record a few more of our new tunes. No word yet on the title of the song ORDAINED will be submitting.
April 4th - ORDAINED has booked a few Revival Crusade Services. We will be performing in Charlottesville, VA, and Va. Beach, VA in May, North Carolina in June, and back SINto Va. Beach, VA in July. Check out the Upcoming Revival Dates section on this site for venue SINformation. Consider yourself warned!
March 21st - 28th - The Reverend & The Dog were accompanied by Jerry Thomas of Toucan Tattoo to Sin City Las Vegas for a week of mayhem. They were front & center drinking Long Island Iced Teas for the Lonesome George Thorogood & The Destroyers show Friday night at the House Of Blues inside Mandalay Bay Hotel/Casino. Saturday night the terrible trio were drinking heavily again front & center at the Love/Hate show at Pink E's. Before the show and afterwards they partied with Robbie Crane (bassist for Ratt, Love/Hate & formerly of the Vince Neil Band), Jizzy Pearl (vocalist for Ratt, Love/Hate & formerly of LA Guns), and Kerry Kelly (guitarist for Love/Hate, Slash's Snake Pit & formerly of Ratt & Pretty Boy Floyd) for about 4 hours. The Reverend was throwing up before throwing down two days in a row.... too much liquor (if there is such a thing). Way too much stuff to list happened on this trip and YES, we all brought back money!
March 17th - MASSIVE new posts this week here at ORDAINED Dot Net! First off, the NEW MORTIMUS GRIMLEY ONLINE COMIC BOOK has been posted. This goes along with the NEW ORDAINED MCD "The Resurrection Of Mortimus Grimley" that has just been released. We have added the song title artwork on the MCD Lyrics page, and last but not least, the first pic of Mike Pagan has been posted. Check out everything and let us know what you think.
March 17th - The Dog & The Reverend will be in Sin City Las Vegas this week. They will be staying at the Four Queens Hotel Casino in downtown. Also along for the ride will be Jerry Thomas, the Revs tattoo guy. This promises to be one of the greatest trips to Sin City ever. Friday night will find them at the House Of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Hotel Casino for the George Thorogood concert. Love/Hate will be playing Saturday night at Pink E's, and the Red Headed Stranger himself... the outlaw Willie Nelson will be there Sunday & Monday night. The Reverend will be trying out his new & improved bacarrat (card game) system, and as a precaution, all the whorehouses in Southern Nevada have been put on high alert. Check back in a couple of weeks for the Sin City update.
March 10th - 9:15 pm EST Just got off the phone with Grasshopper. He has graduated from United States Marine Corps Basic Training in South Carolina, and is now in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Everything is going good and he is steadily spreading the gospel of ORDAINED to the ranks. Along with a new congregation member, Private Pereira, Grasshopper & the Reverend did a few phone liquor shots for American Pride. The boys are gearing up for whatever deployment orders that may come their way, but right now they are mostly terrorizing all the girlie girls at the local strip clubs. February 21st - ORDAINED now has four new songs and we are currently working on two more. These new songs are Heavy Fucking Metal...... not industrial, not grunge, not pop, not progressive, and definately not alternative. Some may stray from the path of Metal and try to hop onto the popular pussy ass trends or commercial corporate bullshit bandwagons, BUT NOT ORDAINED! WE ARE HEAVY METAL!
