Recent ORDAINED Updates
December 25th - Be sure to be on the lookout for Wally "The Dog" Parris in NYC, while fans out west can be on the alert for The Reverend in Sin City Las Vegas for New Years Eve. Both ORDAINED members will be attending several functions, SINcluding concerts, plays, and professional sports games. If you see either The Dog or The Rev, go on up and say HELLo!
December 25th - Season's Beatings! ORDAINED wishes all our fans and congregation members a Metal New Year! ORDAINED would like to thank you all for your continued support & SINterest. We will be making a MAJOR announcement in the near future, so stay tuned!
December 15th - OK, sinners, ORDAINED is rallying the troops once again. Portfolio magazine (available for free in the Hampton Roads, VA area) has the ballots for the 2005 Rock Awards in their current issue. ORDAINED has been nominated for Best Hard Rock/Metal band. This year, ALL VOTES MUST BE SNAIL MAILED IN. We are asking that all of our fans and congregation members grab a copy (or copies) of Portfolio, fill out the ballot with your vote for ORDAINED and SINd it in. Last year, THANKS TO YOUR SUPPORT, the award for Best Hard Rock / Metal Band in Virginia was awarded to ORDAINED. We are asking once again for your help. ORDAINED owes all our success to the faith of our fans and congregation members. THE VOTES WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS (12-15-05 thru 01-15-06), so support democracy, excercise your American right and VOTE!
(posted) December 14th - Congratulations to two of the ORDAINED congregation, Heidi & Patrick, on the birth of their daughter. Jolene Fay Longmire was born November 18th. She weighed 8 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20 inches long. Heidi is one of the original ORDAINED fans from back when we first played down in North Carolina.
(posted) December 11th - The Reverend will break tradition and SINstead of being in New York City for New Years Eve, this year he will be in Sin Ciy Las Vegas. This will be the first time in 11 years that The Rev will be somewhere other than NYC for the festivities. Not 100% positive, but sources claim that it will most likely NOT be ten fucking degrees in Sin City at midnight on December 31st. The last time The Rev was in Sin City for NYE, he was with Wally "The Dog" Parris and they both got so wasted, that neither has been back to Vegas for new years SINce. The Reverends new years resolution in 1992 was to never be in Virginia again for new years eve. So far, so good.....
December 7th - The ORDAINED Shopping SINter has been taken down from the site. We are currently sold out of all ORDAINED merchandise and will be reordering certain items in the future. Stickers, t-shirts, "SINspirational MuSICK - Greatest Cuts" full length, "50 Ways To Kill Your Lover" EP and the new album(s) will be available for purchase in early 2006. The Shopping SINter will be posted again after we record, duplicate and receive the new ORDAINED album(s). "Altar Ego" full length, "Altar Vidego" DVD, "Lovette" CD SINgle, "The Resurrection Of Mortimus Grimley" EP, "ORDAINED - The Second Coming" full length, "A Taste Of The Blood" cassette tape, and the "Let Us Prey" debut EP are now all officially collectors items.
November 27th - Thank you to all the fans and congregation members who made it out to the last ORDAINED Revival Crusade service for 2005. The club was packed out and a good mix of people from all over this area turned out for the performance. Kicking it off was Bad Amazon, who pretty much just rocked the fuck out of it. If you get a chance to see these guys, do it. This was their first show ever, and they pulled it off, big time. Congratulations fellas! Next up was Endchain, blasting through their set of Metal. They sounded tighter than when they jammed with ORDAINED at the Halloween show. Another good band to check out. ORDAINED took the stage and obliterated everything in our path. The performance was a good mix of new material and older fan favorites. Gil (club owner) was actually impressed with ORDAINED this time. We are the most hated band in this area to him, and a compliment about ORDAINED on ANYTHING is a shock, coming from him. Far too many persons to list in a thank you here, but here are a few names so you can see who you missed if you weren't there..... thanks to Bam-Bam, The Docta Joe, Beth, Virginia, Jerry from Toucan Tattoo, Clay, Dean, Zakk, Nick, Joe Godsea, Red Sonya, Nicole, Tobi from Dieoxide, Mark Fogg & Erin, Russell, Jimbo, John Crew & Lucy Fer, Sheila, Rob Cox, Jimmy, Keith & Kevin from Download, the fellas from Chaos Theory & Coflict Of Interest and everyone else who was there. Special Thanks to Evil Ernie, Ken, Buddy & Jen from Bad Amazon, the Endchain guys (and girl), Jason (lights) and also to Gil for having us back in there. 2006 is right around the corner, stay tuned.....
November 21st - ORDAINED will perform one last time this year. This Saturday night, November 26th, Gil's in Va. Beach, VA will host ORDAINED for a special Revival Crusade service. Special Guests also performing are Endchain and the new band Bad Amazon (featuring members of Kung Fu Dykes and former Download/Reign Of Terror member). Doors open early, show starts at 9.
